Your insurance called about electrical. Your answer is one export.

Why fleet operators reach out

What we hear when the call happens

Fire-code inspections require per-boat documentation you don't have

Inspectors ask about electrical. You point at a file cabinet. That's not good enough anymore.

Shore-power incidents expose you to liability

A boat fire at slip 17 becomes your problem fast. Documented compliance is the only defense.

Slip-holders refuse to share their electrical records

You can't make them. But you can incentivize — offer them the PowerLab export as a slip-holder benefit.

Your fire marshal is asking for a standard

You don't have one. Fleet Standard gives you one overnight.

What Fleet Standard adds

How PowerLab closes the gap

Marina-wide electrical status dashboard

Every slip, every vessel with a PowerLab record, every one without. Gaps visible at a glance.

Shore-power incident documentation

When something happens, you have a record showing the vessel's electrical state at intake.

Slip-holder opt-in flow

Invite slip-holders to add their boat. They get free documentation of their electrical. You get the compliance record.

Fire-code inspection export

One click generates the report the fire marshal wants. Every boat, every inspection date, every remediation action.

Honesty about fit

This is NOT for you if:

  • \u00d7Marinas with under 20 slips — ROI is tight; Fleet Standard starts making sense at 30+.
  • \u00d7Marinas that don't want slip-holder cooperation — the model assumes voluntary participation.

Questions fleet operators actually ask

How do we get slip-holders to participate?

Offer it as a slip-holder benefit: their PowerLab project is free through the marina's account (you cover the per-vessel cost as an amenity). Most accept — the design + report alone is worth the 20 minutes.

Does this cover both AC shore-power and DC onboard systems?

Yes. The AC calc path (added in session 6) handles 120/240V split-phase shore-power loads. DC systems (house banks, alternator charging) use the original ABYC E-11 engine.

What if our marina has 80 slips?

Fleet Standard caps at 50 vessels self-serve. For 80+ slips talk to Enterprise — we do annual deals with escalating per-vessel discount tiers.
